Thanks! I’m still deciding on adding the mirror skin to itIt’s beautiful!;Drool
Thanks! I still have a lot more to do. I’m doing the math on the XL shim I’m making for the stand to make it level. Unfortunately the floor beneath is poured concrete and the edges are almost .500 higher than the rest of the roomdude that is amazing! great job.
Thanks I know I have to get the tank wet soonWow. I wish I had that level of skill. Looking forward to the finished project.
You gottm'!Ok a lot has happened over the past week
I managed to find time to make a media rack, with three tiers.
Here’s a video of it being cut
now the final product
as for what I’m putting inside the three levels I haven’t decided. Maybe some biobricks or similar media for the bottom middle will probably be chemipure and top will have filter floss.
Since I was struggling to figure out what kind of lighting I’m going to use, I think a T5 hybrid will be sweet. But I have to make a mount for it. I used .380 clear acrylic
Now with it sitting on the tank
I haven’t decided if I’m going to skin the light bracket with mirror acrylic yet..
And finally my flow nozzles have arrived!
I am super excited for these since this tank will only be powered by the return pump. These RFGs by @Vivid Creative Aquatics will be the “highlight” of this tank.
Thanks Antonio for sponsoring the flow on this tank!
it’s the flow nozzles you provided for sure! I’m absolutely loving itI can almost hear that tank buzzing its so bright
Thanks it’s a lot of practice and trying to achieve museum quality welds is infuriating at times lolthis is awesome! I wish I knew how to weld the acrylic! I would be willing to buy sheets on amazon to fiddle around with it, just all the other supplies I have no clue what I would need... I can weld stainless, titanium, aluminum, Inconel...everything.... but acrylic! haha
Keep it up, and keep us drooling!
thanks! It’s still very early in the contes, I’m trying to get the tank into its own routineBeautiful!
