I have an icecap 3k and 4k. had it for a year or two. since I went to different dosing route it calls for regular icp testing. i have notice levels of heavy metals in my tank. all have come back green or no danger. but still I wonder where they are coming from. I have not done a water change in many months so that rules out saltmixs

I have removed all metal that I can find that is hanging around my tank.so I am still quite confused why these metals won’t drop to the required levels per the icp..again they are with in acceptable ranges.

while I was cleaning my wavemakers I noticed the magnets were exposed but after a closer look i found no rust. cool. but did find a lot of small chips stuck to it. I know it coated (thinly) but once a chip happens the coating is compromised... SO

What metals do expose non rusted and or rusted magnets leach into a water column? I would like to compare what you provide with my 3 monthly icp results. thanks. i have sealed the ends with silicon 1 just to give me piece of mind why not right.
