I took mine out so I'm offering the whole setup for $110 OBO. It comes with 4 Cree 6 LED strips, already mounted to aluminum, 3 W per bulb with a pin fin heat sink on the back for extra cool operation. There's a 50/50 mix of royal blues and cool whites for a 14 k look, alternating every other bulb. Optics are 70 degrees which tested best for PAR. 2 Meanwell 700 mA constant current power supplies to drive all 24 bulbs (2 strings of 12 bulbs driven by each power supply). I only ran them for about 3 months so lots of life left on them!

Dave, I'm pretty sure I can make this work for my set up. See my post on the other forum.

Browning out of some SPS and never really looked "natural" to me I guess. I put the Radium back in yesterday on an HQI ballast and my tank glowed again like it used to in the old days. I missed that. The electricity differential cost is only about $5 a month. I have enough left over Radium bulbs from the big tank to last me years. Actually, I've been reading more and more about people going back from LEDs to another form of lighting so it seems I'm not alone.

That's to bad. I've always questioned the very specific wave lengths and am going to try a wider variety of colors including a few 420nm. I hope that will help. I have read all the threads saying all "necessary" spectrum is covered and heard about people having great success. I have also heard the same results you have had. I guess we'll see.

I will probably never switch from MHs to LEDs BUT I do love them for actinic supplements.
