OK.....I think of myself as someone with pretty decent skills in zoa identification.....but these have got me really thinking....are these Envy Orange?

my friend's colony...it's definitely orange in colour and they do look very much like the Zoaid pics (see links below).

waddya think?? inconclusive?? need a better pic?

someone on RC mentioned our zoa is actually an RPE....but I don't think so.....common RPEs and even the rarer form of RPEs do not match the zoa in our pic..ours is definitely orange, no question about it, even the striation pattern on the oral disc matches........Envy Orange is the only one that comes close so far ;)

Try a few frags under different lighting and see what they do. I find it very hard to believe they don't exist outside Reef Envy. Most of the pics I've seen from people who got them from RE weren't that spectacular, but I've not seen them in person.
