My emperor Angelfish has something white on it especially on its fin and when I flashed the torch I noticed some white dust on him. Below are some pics I took note its fin. Can you please diagnose this fish

These are difficult pics to work with. Extremely bright due to flash. Block or turn flash off and resubmit. Can be flukes or Lympho which they are often susceptible to

It has sprinkles like white dust on it
May very well be ich which requires copper product like coppersafe in quarantine but clear picture will help verify

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Diagnosing fish diseases from just a photograph is very difficult. Sometimes, a short video helps. We also need more background information though. This post explains all that:

From the photo0, I see a probable bacterial infection, along with possible ich or flukes. Emperor angelfish have this odd thing where if they have skin parasites, the skin blanches or whitens in a circle around each parasite. I think I see that happening here.

That’s fin rot suggesting bacterial issue. Assure good water quality is provided
What are you feeding this fish?
Is breathing normal or rapid?

while spots look like ich, it’s confined to one small area than widespread
Breathing is normal I feed it prawn cuz there is nothing much here in Sri Lanka it's hard to find them something good to eat. It eats very well ate even today. Salinity is 1.018. I'll try to post a video.

I have copper
I would get started ~ ramping up to therapeutic level and ensure regular fresh water changes
you low salinity may be keeping the Ich at low levels but it appears it is still there

Should I transfer it to new tank and add copper or should I just add copper to it and do water changes. Does the fish look in a very serious situation.
