I got an elegance coral about a month ago and it was doing great in my tank. We moved it to my husbands tank about a week ago along with all of my other corals while we set up a new tank. Woke up a few days ago and it was shredded... pieces everywhere and maybe half still attached. We thought it was probably the clown fish (they're jerks) so we moved it to my new tank. The next morning the rest of it was in pieces all over my tank (I have one clown fish and it's a friendly one, he hasn't bothered any of the corals before).
Any thoughts? Probably the jerk clown fish? Any chance the little pieces that have nestled in the rock around the tank will regrow?
