Those are cowrie eggs. Mine lay eggs all the time. I’ve found babies once, but I’ve never seen any make it past a few weeks. I’m not sure if they’re just picked off by fish or if their dietary needs aren’t met. Hopefully you’ll be lucky and have some survive to maturity.
