So left for a few days and come home to one of my Zebra eels lying on his back out in the middle of the sandbed last night.
Not typical at all, he looked half paralysed and kinda thick in the middle of his body .. breathing labored.

21 year old fish sitter says she only fed what i had premade to feed the tank.
today the eel chunked up what looks like 3 or 4 whole shrimp , obviously thats what he did is over ate.
is there anything i can do to help him. i could net him as hes not really moving much, my other fish seem to be just leaving him alone.

Ive had him at least 4 years and dont want to lose him.

Nothing to really do other than give it time, no need to move him. I find feeding smaller items help prevents overeating, they will tend to just refuse that last item rather than take that last super large item that takes them over the edge.
