Has anyone worked out what micron rollermat fleece filter at? I’m using bubble magus small on a 75G reef tank and I’d like to start dosing phytoplankton at night but trying to figure out if the fleece would filter the algae or not. Googled and best I could find out is fleece will filter up to 25 micron but not DOWN to what. Nannochloropsis and others are usually in the 2-4 micron size. Ie small unless they clump.

Not sure about roller mats.
I can tell you if I dose Phyto in my tank my 200 micron felt socks will filter my tank clear in 1/2 hour. If I take the socks out it will take about 3 hours to clear.
Some is going to stick to the fleece no mater what size.

Thanks for feedback. I think the fleece filters down to 25 micron so no phytoplankton in main tank unless turn pumps off.
