You dont think id have any issues with the dwarf lion eating the dwarf angel? And when it comes to later size issues i do plan on upgrading eventually but this is truee that the fox face grows rsther fast... also do you have any ideas of any coral safs predators like i was considering like a red colored scorpian leaf fish or some kind of pufferfish that the dwarf lion wont eat and the puffer itself wont eat my coral... im trying to do a very unorthadox type of live stoc based off of a tank i saw on YouTube that this woman had for years with no issue beforecfinslly selling it to get larger tank and went different direction. But she lionfish wartskin angler and rhenopias scorpian leaf fish in her coral reef i made the thread to see if anybody had an ideas for possibly different tank mates within similar direction but im still open to having ommunity non predator fish as well if they will hold their own in the tank ps sorry for any typos its difficult for me go type... also any ideas period are welcome i am jus clarifying as to what im hoping to go towards with the type of fish id keep on top of jus within or outside of my idea for tank mates what will go smoothly eith my swarf fuzzy lionfish!!!

Dwarf lions are pretty chill. If you get them young or already trained to take dead food, they prefer to be fed rather than hunt their tankmates. I personally am not too worried about anything over 2 inches that is healthy and doesn’t live on the bottom of the tank. Look for a bigger one, and it will soon be the boss fish.

The dwarf lion will eat anything that can fit in it's mouth. But dwarfs are pretty small which only leaves really small fish and inverts. I had one with cleaner shrimp and some ocellaris clowns and it never showed any interest in them but did eat an acro crab. It helped that I trained it to eat flake food in addition to frozen seafood.

My current stock in a 75g includes 2 fuzzy dwarfs and a potters and Multibar Angel, with fuzzys I think smaller shrimps and baby fishes have a problem, I have a Pom Pom crab that I’m sure firts in my larger fuzzys mouth but his grip to rocks is good I seen my fuzzy 2 times try at the beginning he stopped since he’s nicely feed now.

I've had a Fuzy dwarf anda Zebra dwarf. Such awesome fish and fun to watch. As i upgraded and time went on i found it harder to feed as they take a very direct feeding. Water current in my take took any food not held in front of the lions and broadcasted in the taken ending up with tankmates snatching it up. Lions definitely took more care but i had mine with Anthias, dwarf angels, clowns, coral banded shrip, and other and to me just seemed like all them were just to fast or stayed away from the lions. Good luck. they are a blast! if i had more patience i would add another to my current tank.

This 74 gallon tank has an antenata lion fish in it. I also have clown fish, filefish, Valentin puffer, Fox face, bi color bleni, Tomi tang, and lots of sps, anemones, and some lps. No issues with lion fish. Only wants frozen krill dropped in front of his face.
