I have CaribSea LifeRock in my tank and I noticed little particles that look like dust coming off the surface of the rock. At first I shrugged it off but its been going on for hours now. I’m pretty sure its harmless but does anyone know the cause or how to stop it?

Hi.
Is this a new tank, new rock, any livestock?
What sort of flow devices do you have in there?
Any recently changes to your setup Including changing pump speeds and/or outlet direction?
Its a rather new tank (about a month) and I did get new rock but the old rock is the one with the particles. I also have 2 clownfish

Likely sediment and dust from new sand as well as detritus
