I placed my new Duncan frag on the front my rock at a bit of an angle. It has pretty good flow and is about 13 inches from my lights (AI glow and grow blades). I just wanted to get options and experiences with placement. Thoughts on if it will do okay placed at an angle like it is? It opened up pretty good within 15 minutes of placing.

It'll be fine at an angle. New heads will grow in different directions anyway. Give it some time, it will let you know if its happy. You can always move it. I moved mine a few times. Its happy up top with moderate flow. Has been in the same spot over a year.
