Hello all.
So I’ve had a baby Mandarin Dragonet for about a year now. I recently added a clown to his tank, and watched the clown bite down directly on the dragonet. Obviously the clown has been removed, however the dragonets horn has been shortened down to about where the line is in the picture below. Is this something that will get longer again over time? I hate seeing my baby boy get a shorter horn due to a fish I added. He occasionally gets rips and pinholes in his fins, and they usually fully heal within a couple days. However, since the horn isn’t just fin, and is an actual ray, I’m worried he won’t be able to grow it back.
(This was a temporary 10 gallon tank he was in, which is why the tank looks so weird).
