Has anyone purchased this dosing pump system? I was wondering what the reviews on it were like. Should I get one of these or can I use an Aqua Lifter on a timer? The only thing that worries me about the Aqua Lifter is that it pumps the liquid through the tube pretty fast and if I'm going to use it for a two-part system it'll need to be much slower. The Aqua Lifter pumps 3.5 gallons per hour (220 mL per 1 min.). Any suggestions?

I don't have any experience with the unit you linked. I am using peristaltic dosers from bulk reef supply and have been happy with them so far. They are a tad more expensive. I too would be worried about the high flow rate of the aqualifter. I guess one way you could get around this would be to make your alk and Ca solutions up more dilute, but that is a bit of a pain. Also if for whatever reason the timer stuck, that has the potential to dump a lot of alk in your system.

That ebay one, if it works, looks like at great deal at that price! I'm using a Bubble Magus and its almost $300.
