Hello, i have been struggling with no3 and po4 since I got the tank(6 months), they are always 0. My corals are getting paler by the day, one larger birdsnest colony started to die in the middle. Its a 400L aquarium and i only have 2 small fish, have been waiting for my fish order since may. Im getting desperate so is it ok if I dose easy-life nitro (no3) freshwater plant fertilizer in my reef aquarium? IMG20221228153736.jpg

I do not recommend it (unless you are also trying to boost potassium) since will raise potassium substantially over time:

"Easy-Life Nitro is dosed directly into the aquarium. The addition of 10 ml per 500 l water increases the nitrate concentration in the tank by 2,10 mg/l and the potassium concentration by 1,3 mg/l."

That's a small amount of nitrate (1.8 ppm per week or 0.3 ppm per day). Barely worth doing, IMO.

Do you do water changes?

Without them, potassium will rise from 400 ppm to 459 ppm in a year. That is likely fine.

I do waterchanges sometimes, maybe once a month, do you think adding 3 fish is enough for now?

Adding more fish food, with or without more fish, is a good way to raise nutrients.

The water changes will reduce any potassium rise concern.
