I just began dosing Brightwells potassion to increase my potassium lever to about 400. Doing so every other day as instructed on the bottle. I test water daily and am finding the next day nitrates jump 30ish points! The following day back down. This has been happening the last week since I began dosing this product.
the bottle says potassium sulfate is ingredient so I’m curious if this would mess with my nitrate levels?

It will have no impact on nitrate.

It is a mix of chloride and sulfate salts, the two most abundant ions in seawater, and and the most appropriate mix of ions to use.
