Just wondering if anyone knows what this is? Seemed to appear overnight and only in this one spot in the tank.

Looks to me like a bleached Rhodactis muchroom. What happens when you poke it?

Absolutely nothing! It doesn’t appear to react to any touch

Clatharina sponge which will continue to grow and spread out.
Best removal is with a dental pick or small crochet needle.

That definitley rules out my guess. Maybe a sponge of some kind?
