Does anyone know if this is a legitimate Red Sea packaging. It’s being offered with stand half the retail price privately.

I’m not sure if they make knock off brands in Red Sea tanks. Lol!
I know it seems a strange question but can anyone tell me how to authenticate it?!

I’ve been sent the serial number & pics. It looks genuine. We’ve now spoken & the lady has fresh water tanks & tried marine but didn’t work out for her apparently. I’ll try look up the serial number.

It is used, so half price is what it should be. Not to say that's the standard in this hobby. Most try the hobby out and want to charge the same price of what they put in it when they quit.

Seems legit and a good deal. Agree 1/2 off retail for used is about fair and not unheard of. Also agree if it was a knock off, they went thru some trouble. Even tho it’s legit, if you can, water test it.

Thanks. Yes it is legit. You can’t trust anything anymore. Fake it this, fraud that especially marketplace m. You’ll find anything there. Yes I did buy it now I’m stuck on building it lol. This’ll be interesting

It’s still in the plastic packaging. She did say she put water in it & got stuck with ammonia not clearing but all the media is still in the plastic bags brand new. Very strange. I’m just hoping nothings missing

Only the cabinet was put together. Everything else is brand new in the bags. I got it less than half price. I do like the peninsula better

I’ve put together half the components so far. Skimmer. Ato. I’ve the pump & media to do next. I haven’t washed anything yet including the tank which is 1st on my list tomorrow morning.

Three projects! Zoanthids, NPS, Anemone...

The anemone tank is almost complete; the zoa tank will have it's first zoa's soon and the NPS/mangrove project is on planning stage.

We always wanted to try my luck with more species-specific tanks in stead of the 'classic' mixed reef..
