I've been adding AF Lifesource weekly to my young tank thinking I was adding beneficial bacteria. Today I realized the packageing states only that it provides "minerals". Does anyone have more information about this? Now I'm considering this,

i dont find a real point to those products unless you are trying to keep a very sterile tank. The best thing to add is live rock from a trusted source
Possibly however I already have a tank I started with dry rock so I'm trying to do whatever I can to help the system mature.
