Do you subscribe to a certain “reefing method” and if so which one?

How do you feel about its effectiveness in helping you achieve your reef tank goals?

No real method here, other than just moving steady and slow with attentive husbandry. It helps that I am an uber-patient man. Impatience in this hobby is a killer.

No specific methodology - at least not a named one. If anything I would call it the "Sometimes" method, and it takes a little from all the different method.

Sometimes I'll dose trace
Sometimes it'll be a water change or adding some carbon.
Sometimes I'll test parameters and sometimes i won't
Sometimes I'll just leave it along and enjoy it

For the most parts, I am more a reef-by-feel kind of guy. I let the tank give me clues as to what it needs based on observation

About the only thing I do on the regular is empty skimmer cup, and fill the dosing containers.

My motto is keep it simple and do as little as possible but, inevitably, things arise that you have to deal with.

In that vein, I only keep easy/beginner stuff:
