Hello, Everyone! I was wondering if I need a sump for my new 44 gallon reef tank? I have a fluval 307 currently that connects into the tank (under it). I will also be installing a coral life skimmer. I have no fish yet and adding live rock this weekend. I would really appreciate the help.

The hole(s) may not be in the right place for an overflow box but you could check and have one specifically made. I am glad I have a sump for my 40 breeder.
Thanks! I’ll check. I know sumps are nice for convenience and looks.
