I put the timer together on some DIM rail yesterday. $26 shipped, will be adding more heavy duty power cables for power in and female plug for skimmer wire. Don't have a clear face project box at the moment but it will almost fit in an outdoor receptacle cover I have that has a flip up clear front cover. You can get the same timer with multiple functions, but cost increases to about $30. The delay off can be used for ATO overrun protection, to limit max pump run time. These timers reset when power is cycled to them.

edit: terminal connectors and DIM rail does not come with timer

Sounds interesting to me.how are you triggering the timer to delay on? I use the AI pumps to trigger feed mode with mobius but need to shut off the skimmer manually. I have my system on Kasa plugs. I have a timer to shut off the skimmer around my normal feeding time. When I travel for work my wife is not able to feed on the same schedule.

I guess this is to much for some
It is for me! But f it were me, I'd route the plengith capillary bulb through a trulonth hypersolunium extention valve. That would allow for yenslith bandwidth absorption and whalla!! You've got what you need! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Seriously, I dig what your doing. I used to do hacks when I was 30 years younger and some of them actually worked! It's fun!

There is not a need for tank automation to add a delay to your skimmer on time when feeding if you turn off your return pump. they sell these delays for $50 plus . But for $26 you can time your skimmer on time or control ATO or AWC pump run time. Some folks don't have the money to spend for these motor controls. But this is cheap and easy to do the same.

The timers reset when power is cycled. I have my skimmer and return pump on the same power bar. I turn off the power bar to feed, The wave makers also have there feed time so I let them come on first so any left over food is suspended. When i turn the return pump power bar back on, the skimmer has the delay on timer set at 6 min. so i don't have any skimmer flood during the return pump start up. this plays into tank salinity stability, i don't want my ATO adding fresh water to cover this.
