Hey all, been lurking the forum for over a year, finally joined this is my first post.
Just wanted to post this in case anyone found it helpful. Long story short I just went topless on my Red Sea 250 C for a few reasons and wanted to cover the rear filtration to make it look nicer. I had seen someone use the front flap after gutting it to DIY a cover. I know intank makes and sells one but they are currently out of stock.
This brings me to the hidden screws in the front flap. If anyone wants to do this here’s what I did and should allow you to reassemble the hood if needed.
gently work around the seems with a flat head screw driver some small internal plastic tabs will break but I don’t see a problem with it going back together down the line and using glue
