Finally got some blue cannons to help even out the color during the daylight hours of the light cycle… should soften the stark white from all the 10ks and provide some better viewing in the evening!

Building some custom mounts for the cannons to connect to the T-slot.

Also need to replace the LED Chip from one of the blues after swapping drivers and figuring out it’s just not firing.

Very cool! I've followed your build since before you had water in it. It's amazing to see these corals today.

I was surprised to see your Ca and Mg values. Is that where you consistently run?

Thanks for following along!!

Yes, that’s where they usually are… pretty high or at least higher than I would like them but things look good…

Never a dull moment in Reefing…

Cracked spears sch 80 fitting on the CaRx… just got it dialed in too!!

Ordered some new parts and will redo that section with some clear PCV piping to keep
an eye on the recirc flow…
That's amazing! I've never had glued joints crack. But have had one threaded joint crack, that I overtightened with tape. Is this a glued joint- and why would it split?!?

It’s a threaded connection that was leaking so I retaped it and snugged it but didn’t over tighten it… but maybe it was too much :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Thread tape is meant for metal fittings. Use the liquid version of thread tape for plastic fittings (It allows excess to squeeze out and not overstress the plastic fittings.) Then you shoudn't have this problem again.

HAVE YOU EVER KEPT A RARE/UNCOMMON FISH, CORAL, OR INVERT? SHOW IT OFF IN THE THREAD!
