All I have to say is wow! Beautiful! Definitely subscribing to your setup! Awesome video too! Almost makes me think of switching to a setup similar and getting rid of my 240! Thanks for sharing!

It's super easy. I previously had these fish is a bowfront 160 gallon. The fish were much smaller then. My fiancee wanted me to move all my tanks to my "fish room" and I compromised and decided to go bigger but cheaper. I enjoy this tank 10x more than my 160 g tank. I just perform a 90 gallon water change once every month and skim. The tank just has a ton of LR in it.

That's amazing. Love all the angels

Thanks. Yeah I am a huge fan of queen angels and all angels in general. Thanks

Ha I am an avid trout fisherman and I thought about throwing a fly on top of the water just to see if they would bite. I just don't wanna hurt them in any way. They have sooo much personality.

This is awesome! Makes me rethink the koi pond I want.

You could easily make an awesome koi pond for a 300 gallon stock tank. I would like to see it.

How does your queen get along with your emporer? I've always wanted that combo.

They get along VERY well. The emperor is indeed the "emporer". He is ruler of the tank. The queen is the "queen" of the tank. There is a pecking order but all the fish coexist very well together. I don't foresee me adding anymore fish anytime soon.

I have been wanting to do the same thing. How much sand did you use.

Very little. Basically I went to Petsmart and bought their sand. I bought one bag or aragonite fine sand and one bag of crushed coral. I mixed the two sands together and that's all I added. It's so thin that I do have a couple bare spots int he tank. I didn't want a build up of nutrients in the sand bed for this reason. So far it's worked very nicely.

Beautiful!
Thanks!

Cool. Really neat how the fish interact at the surface since there is no glass for them to see you through.

Wow, your set-up looks amazing. What type of filtration system are you running ?

Basically I use lots of LR (approx 350lbs) of it and a good skimmer. I also perform 90 gallon water changes once every 4-6 weeks. I am due for one right now. But that's it. I used to run carbon but my queen angel is very sensitive to carbon and it was causing HLLE. No need for it now. My water stays crystal clear all the time. I feed conservatively but with lots of nutrition.

I'm over due for a water change so i'm gonna do one today, but thats great you only have the LR filtering your tank.
