Do you mean the white mucus on the tail fin? That isn’t Lymphocystis. It could be mucus from an injury or it could be Brooklynella.

Does the fish have any other symptoms?
Can you give a full history of the fish and the tank?

Agree on possible brooklynella. Can you post pics of entire fish? Also is fish eating and breathing normal?

I have another clown they sometimes fight don’t know if it’s from that but no I don’t really see no Symptoms the clown is eating fine my tank is about 7 weeks old when I first got the fish it look fine never had that white coating on it’s fin it just burly appeared today so I really don’t know what it is im treating the clown for parasites because it’s been popping long white stringy poop.

No I’m treating with general cure for internal parasites
I dont see signs of internal issues especially body fat loss and fish are still eating.

There poop has been white and stringy for a quite time already so I’m treating it to see if it goes away
If youre feeding mysis and brine shrimp, you are seeing mucus which is in the stomach lining and mimicking internal issue
