One huge issue is that only a few fish diseases can be visually ID’d from photos with 100% certainty - many of the visual symptoms overlap. We use a mix of photos, videos and history of the fish to try and piece things together, and even then, we come up empty about 20% of the time.
I’ve gone through the sticky photos here and tried to clarify the ones that are clearly incorrect, but it is a work in progress.
