32 Gallon Aquapod approximately 7months old

Water Parameters are good

4 mainstay fish for several months: Fiji Damsel, Six Line Wrasse, Royal Gramma, Chalk Bass

Royal Gramma died, then a domino effect started

Added a Tomato clown, died within a week, chalked it up "these things happen"

Tried another Royal Gramma, it died (was getting bullied by the Fiji Damsel)

Thought the bullying was likely the cause, removed the Fiji Damsel

Added a Chocolate Clown, it died

The Wrasse and Chalk Bass appear to be thriving, I have not observed any bullying behavior by the Wrasse

The fish deaths have been sudden. I just do not see them the next day (my cleanup crew is very efficient, nothing is left)

The only real change I have noticed is that the red slime problem I had, is gone. I chalked that up to water changes and manual removal.

When the fish die, I have not seen any odd behavior. Just boom, the next day they are gone (I presume the cleanup crew is doing their job as I see nothing leftover).

Any ideas? Water parameters are fine and the Chalk Bass, Blue Line Wrasse, Cleaner Shrimp and Soft Coral are all doing very well.

I alternate feedings between flake food and frozen food.

Thank you.

did these fish show any sort of symptom before dying? It’s odd to me that two are surviving and leads me to believe it may have been bad luck and the fish were sick when you got them. do you have a quarantine tank that you can place your next fish in for a month or so to monitor before placing in your display? I would not try adding any more fish directly into your display tank until you figure out what is going on, if those fish were sick, whatever they had could now be in your display. I’m sure some other users will be able to chime in on alternative possibilities, just my two cents.

I've heard 6 line wrasse can be bullies, could be that they are bullying the new additions at night?
