Does anyone know what type of material does Ecotech use for their light diffusers? Thinking about a DIY for my ReefLed 90 lights using some aftermarket shades. Thanks!

Why don't you ask ecotech support? The diffusers are cheap. You can buy a pair and modify them to your lights or buy some direct for red sea.Does anyone know what type of material does Ecotech use for their light diffusers? Red sea doesn’t make them but yes I should ask Ecotech what they use. Was thinking about 3d printing an adapter from Red Sea to ecotech. Thanks! Why don't you ask ecotech support? The diffusers are cheap. You can buy a pair and modify them to your lights or buy some direct for red sea.
RedSea ReefLED 90 Light Shade/Diffuser | eBay
For any reefers that have owned the RedSea ReefLED 90, you know that the amount of light these lights puts off is incredible. These lights produce a very large amount of light, however that light tends to stretch well beyond the aquarium and can interfere with other rooms.www.ebay.com
The current radions have built in diffusers. My gen 5 did not though so I added the cheap ones. Really helps balance the light spread. You do lose a little par though. They attach with tiny round magnets on the corners.Red sea doesn’t make them but yes I should ask Ecotech what they use. Was thinking about 3d printing an adapter from Red Sea to ecotech. Thanks!
