My tank is not mature, and this is the second time the rainbow bubble tip has expelled a black rocky material while shriveled up. this time it's made the tank cloudy. should i perform a water change or run carbon. hopefully its poop but i doubt it
(rip to the clownfish he took a leap)

You don’t need to do a water change or run carbon, but it would be smart to perform an ICP (ATI will be a decent one) and correct the chemistry that is low or depleted so that he has the best chance of surviving. Best of luck.

Maybe a picture of your anemone in white light.
So other members can also help you . I must admit if I have a sign of trouble in the tank I run carbon but that is up to you . @OrionN is very good with anemones let’s see if we can get him
Also all your water parameters would be good if you have them also how young is your tank .

The tank looks brand new, like it was built yesterday, you haven't provided any other information except for that, very hard to offer advice with no information, except, wait for the tank to mature before trying again.

Yes they do move around looking for there happy place. If it opens up during lights on don’t worry if it deflates with lights off . Also you want a bit of nitrate in your water not to much also phosphate not to much anemones like a bit of nutrients in the water and if you have coral they like it . Hope things are turning round for you . If you would like send a photo of your full tank in white light and members can look at the set up and advise others things if needed.

Too much flow they don’t like I would say moderate flow but in that picture it looks happy bubbled up and open that nem is not on deaths door as far as your Goni @steveschuerger has loads on Goni so he might chime in. I know nothing about them .
But I would not change anything just keep your parameters in check . You said that you had no nitrate you don’t want 0 about 10 some people keep nems in a lot higher range maybe the Goni is struggling with no nitrate perhaps don’t know. But as far as the anemone don’t worry from that picture look ok . And remember theses anemones grow fast and the secret is leave them alone to do there own thing . Also watch out it does not climb for light or flow and end up in a power head it happens to people all the time not good at all. And looking at the pictures you have plenty of flow in your tank and at the surface. If you definitely don’t have nitrate slow down your water changes and how many fish are in the tank . And if you have plenty feed a bit more means more fish waste that means more nitrate just a thought. Good luck
