I have a 14g IM Nuvo peninsula AIO. Build thread is: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/new-to-hobby-heres-my-build-and-the-plan.985742/#post-11639792
Recently unheaved all the rockwork and replaced it for a much more natural scape after a 5 week bucket cycle, things are good. My first corals are getting here tomorrow, 5 Mushrooms, 1 Zoa, and a small BTA all from Queen City Corals. Current inhabitants are 2 Mocha Clownfish, about 6 Nass Snails, 15 assorted blue and scarlet hermits, 7 Astreas, slightly rounder than a dime, and 4 Crusty Cerith snails that spend all day sleeping in the sand (slackers)
I'd like to make plans to add some more unique life to the tank in the next couple months. I'd love a Blood Shrimp but man, 80 bucks is nutty to me.
I'm taking suggestions under the following criteria:
Must be softie & LPS coral safe (generally, if fed well)
Must not predate the BTA, as well as hopefully not be stupid enough to feed itself to the BTA.
Must be able to handle "Meh" Nitrates.
With the tank being a nano, my nitrates have a tendency to move between 10-20ppm through a week before I WC. I have been taking steps to keep my nitrates in check, including a skimmer and reassessing how much I currently feed.
Thanks for any input going forward!
