Ok, so years ago I had a 65 g tank, never dealt with cyano! Now I have a 32 cube after being gone from the hobby for many years and the red beast has reared its ugly head!!! I’ve done everything except use chemo- clean but I have some algae that my lil urchin likes and needs sooo will the chemo clean destroy his food? There is some hair algae on the rocks now but he stays away from that due to the cyano being on it at one time. He likes to feed on my green and red coralline on the back wall, soo will that be destroyed too? My 2 biggest headaches, Dang cyano and a dang shrimp that destroyed my Duncan last night! Oh, I keep reading that cyano is slimy, well some of this really bright red stuff I’m sucking off the rock appears to be scaly! Any thoughts on that?
