Hi Everyone,

I've got my Macro display tank up and running and so far so good. I have one tail spot blenny in there and so I figured I might need a small CUC to help out but I have noticed my Banded Trochus liked to nibble on the pom pom which is not ideal. Wondering what you all would recommend for a macro safe CUC? I thought maybe some small hermits which I could spot feed to keep them away from the algae but open to other ideas.

Hey, I have several things in my CUC and none of them seem to eat my macros;

Scarlet Reef Hermit
Banded Trochus Snails (also breed in my tank so free extra CUC )
Cerith Snails
Astra Snails
Nassarius Snail

Orange lipped conch was also fine.

Most small snails are safe as are most small hermits, though I know when I had dragons breath and red ogo in my display I had large hermits that would inadvertently cut it up scavenging.

After a couple of days the Trochus stopped nipping at the macros and it now foraging for other algae which is great. I'm a big fan of the Super Tongan I have in there. Don't see it much when I do I get excited!

Thanks for all the feedback!
