For some context, I just picked up a trachy yesterday, gave it a iodine dip and placed it in my tank. All seemed well, then I noticed 2 feathery appendages protruding from the trachy. At first I thought they were sweepers, so I moved it a bit farther away from the Lobo. However, i looked at the tank tonight and saw them again, there around 8-12 inches long. And only 2 are present still, they have branches coming off the maim stem, concerned for my lobo, I did some research and found this Reed builders article discussing a similar thing
So naturally, I need your thoughts. Are they harmful, should I remove them, will they sting/irritate my lobo? Here's a photo
