Hey Reefers!

February's meeting is going to be a Dual Meeting...

In the front of the room, we'll be making fish/coral food. Everyone in attendance will be able to take home a reusable frozen cube tray filled with the food. This was alot of fun when we did it 2 years ago.

We WILL need a headcount prior to the meeting so that we know how much to get for ingredients, and we can plan accordingly.

If you'd like to read up on DIY Food, this was a good thread we had going a while back:
https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/topic-of-the-week-diy-fish-food.181194/

In the back of the room, we'll have a few tables set up for people to buy/sell/trade anything saltwater/reef related - dry goods or livestock. Please utilize the February Trade Thread to list what you have for sale/trade or what you might be looking for.

The Meeting Date is Saturday February 17, 2018 at 5pm at the Lutz Children's Museum in Manchester, CT.

We will have a raffle as well - stay tuned for raffle prize announcements!

Hope to see you there!

I have a question...
I am currently not a member but will probably attend and join. Can I bring stuff to sell? And will I qualify for food making?

I was a member back in the early days (2001) or so but got out in 2006. I sold a lot of stuff to members back then and would love to see you guys and pics of your tanks. Maybe even see some corals I past on. [emoji16]

We'd be happy to have you attend. ☺

Membership is only $20 OR $25 if you want a tshirt too.

You do need to be a paid member to take advantage of the giveaways and raffles, but you can decide that at the meeting itself.

I can bring my blender too if it will be needed. It’s a ninja so it shouldn’t have any trouble slicing and dicing some fish food, lol

Thanks but I actually have a dedicated food processor for fish food. Lol

Totally lost track of time. If I leave now, I might get there in time to see everybody leave.

Out of curiosity, what is the IM prize? I cannot for the life of me figure out what that could possibly be.

[edit:] Never mind, decided to not be lazy and looked it. Algae feeder.
