Found this little guy while looking at dinos and diatoms. Any id

Couldn’t play video on my iPad, but from pic it looks like an Ostracod?

@bushdoc thats a shame. Is it a good guy? On the videos can see it scurrys around pretty quickly

looked at the video, after I came back home-definitely ostracods. They are ecological equivalent of pods ( copepods), they consume algae and detritus mostly, so nothing to worry.

@bushdoc thanks for that. Currently got dinos not from low nutrients but im sure lack of biodiversity. Added 8kg of fiji live rock so seeing these sorts of things is a good sign to the little glass box eco system
