In the past I have definitely struggled with torch flow, so thought I’d just drop a video to get your guys opinions as I added this one to the tank yesterday and want it to succeed!

Flow looks good! They love flow, especially randomized flow. Only thing I have to add, is watch that hammer or frogspawn thats next to it, that sweeper from the torch is getting really close!
Awesome, good to hear! I will move that hammer away, I was surprised by the length of the sweeper! I’ll just put the hammer on the left side of the scape I think to be extra safe, and make this right side a torch garden.

That is a fantastic idea. Torch gardens are wonderful.

My torches love the flow, check out my vid

I was about to make a new thread about torches and flow but I’m glad I saw your post before I did.

One LFS I go to has them literally beside SPS frags just getting pounded with flow, whipping around, but they look so healthy and good.

The guy across town has them near his Frogspawn and his just gentle bobble around.

Glad to see others have them in high flow too, I was starting to doubt my placement.

I only realised that the video was taken when my flow was on low random lol, when I have it on high pulse all my corals sway a lot more..
