I’m thinking this coral is in trouble. It had 2-3 new “heads” that can’t be seen anymore. The coralline is out of control on the rocks in this tank. Is this coral going to be killed by coralline?

Is this a patch of red slime at the tip of the arrow?

Sorry, I am confused.

How do you think the coraline will kill it? Is there something in specific happening besides it just growing on the rocks?
I’m not sure what the name is for what I have circled. It’s lost all its growth, that growth is now covered in coralline.

That red is rock hard. These are TBS rocks shipped in water, these red spots were on it from day one. It is literally rock hard and has not grown in size at all. I have some other pics that show it also.

The coraline is not killing it. Your corals tissue is receding, leaving skeleton behind which the coraline is growing on.
