I have a 45g cube tank and just ordered a Coralife Turbo Twist 6x, but after reading, I'm wondering if I should have gotten a higher wattage. It's 18w and said up to 250g, but I imagine that is not for saltwater.
Primary objective is to use it for reducing cyano and dinos, currently having a dino issue.

Also, I could use advice if recommend lower end gph or higher? Recommended 200-400 gph and the pump I have is rated at 266 gph.

Any experience with this UV Sterilizer or recommendations?

I use the Twist 6 on my 54 gal. Works great. I used a Sicce 1.5 pump 357gph.

And bigger is ok. For dinos (assuming you have the type that have a water column life cycle phase) - you want 8x turnover or more at the right exposure level. That stuff can double every 20 min under optimum conditions. For ich - lower flow and higher exposure.

I have 6x on my 75 and thought it was a bit of overkill. On a 45 you should be good. 266 GPH flow should be fine. Slower the flow the longer the contact time with the pathogens or whatever which is what you want.
