I ordered this uv and was wondering if anyone else runs it and what flow you have it at. My tanks 53 gallons and I also ordered a 400gph pump that can have its flow adjusted down. I believe in the pdf owners manual it says flow should be between 200 to 400gph. I was just wondering if 200gph would be slow enough to help with possible parasite populations in the water column or if I should aim for even slower.. thank you:) it's coming tomorrow so just want to make sure its actually functioning as intended.

I'm assuming the 400 Gph flow rate would be for algae and 200 Gph or less for parasites, but Coralife's website is basically non-existent in terms of providing any kind of detail. Yes, you could run it slower than 200 Gph - but do keep in mind that these do need a certain amount of flow to cool the UV bulb, so I probably wouldn't go below 100-150 Gph (and you may not notice a huge difference between 100-200 Gph).

Ok as I was just scrolling down through the manual again (a bit further this time) and came across the attached info. So, in your expert opinion where should I aim to be for flow rate here? Again, it's the 6x variant thank you

So I'm assuming the graph didn't change your opinion on the matter. I suppose I'll aim for the 150gph mark..
