It continues to be interesting! The tube feet do say echinoderm, though it's an odd-looking one.

Does the coral look damaged at all?

I would be inclined to put this in a reasonably large cup of water, with maybe an algae-covered shell or something, until finding out a bit more about it. It should be fine in a big cup for a few days if you do the occasional 100% water change (read: pour the cup back into the tank and scoop it full again) now and then.
