Do you have any suggestions where I could put the MontiDon’t put them on the sand bed...
Montis are pretty simple and will grow great at anything over 120 par with moderate flow. So somewhere halfway up the rock work or higher.Do you have any suggestions where I could put the Monti
What will those corals not be stung by the elegance coral and also Any suggestions on how to keep the green hairy mushroom at bay and the placement of that coralMaybe you should add some bubble coral and maybe a galaxia with a couple pectinias too? Show that elegance who’s boss.
They would be the ones stinging the elegance. What will those corals not be stung by the elegance coral and also Any suggestions on how to keep the green hairy mushroom at bay and the placement of that coral
I heard that the hairy shroom will encrust and spread like fire over other coralsThey would be the ones stinging the elegance.
You can put a green hairy mushroom just about anywhere in your tank. Many mushrooms will also move themselves. I can't tell you how many discos I've had pick themselves up and tumble around the tank until they found a spot they like.
I really wouldn't worry to much about the elegance, their sweepers aren't too bad. I know many who have them pretty close to other corals.
nah, corals are pretty good about maintaining distance. You have to kind of layer them though. So keep encrusting or low to the surface corals near the larger ones like euphyllia. You can keep corals pretty close but most give them space for them to grow and fill it in.I heard that the hairy shroom will encrust and spread like fire over other corals
I really appreciate all the input and support on this forum I don’t know what I’d do without it no one ever replys on other onesnah, corals are pretty good about maintaining distance. I have had a couple coral battles in my tank and there are some that are much stronger than others. You learn it as you go. Might lose a polyp but you learn a lesson. It doesn't happen too much.
Just pay it forward once you get a year or so of failures under your beltI really appreciate all the input and support on this forum I don’t know what I’d do without it no one ever replys on other ones
