Currently, I have a fully cycled 6 gallon tank and I was looking to add some easy soft corals and a clean-up crew. Because I do not plan to keep any fish, will I need to dose nutrients?

I would get a little bit of phosphorous in there and some ammonium. Some coral food is fine for the phosphorous part. Ammonium chloride works for nitrogen.

You can have a few shrimp or crabs and feed them a bit of flake food every day.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. Also, I understand that a six gallon is quite small, but what kind of fish would I eventually be able to add, if possible?

If you include a nassarius snail to your CUC it will require semi regular feeding, as will a hermit crab. Fish options, particularly utilitarian, are limited to non-existent in tanks this size.
