Purchased this coral at a local petco about one and a half years ago it is not a fast growing coral but it does well in my system not sure what type of coral it is?

+1 Galaxea. They can have some nasty, mean sweeper tentacles so make sure you give them room or you might end up with coral warfare. They're also a fairly hardy coral. I've killed mine two or three times already and it's still hanging in there. It's been through 3 or 4 tank moves. Currently lives in a Black Liver Sponge.
