Hello guys, got that coral as a gift but don’t know what it is, any insight would be appreciated. Coral seems healthy, drip acclimated and dipped it, then made a “stand” from putty for its bony root.

what I am interested in is:
1. Coral name
2. Coral flow requirements
3. Coral light requirements
4. If putty method is good or should I remove it and glue it to frag plug or rock?

atm it’s on the floor of the tank and is doing quite well

Looks like Horn coral, Hydnophora sp. Moderate light and flow. If it's happy where it's at in your system I'd say leave it there or place it someplace with similar conditions.

Is it a hard coral or soft? Hard to tell from the pic.
