DAILY QUESTION: What advice would you give to a new coral grower starting out in the hobby?
I usually tell people - don't follow my example! Unfortunately for most of us, failure is our best teacher. The best advice I can give (but rarely follow) is take it slow. Also, research what you're buying before you buy it! Too many people buy stuff and then post in here saying "What's this and why isn't it happy?"

DAILY QUESTION: What are your favorite resources for learning about coral care?
A lot comes from Reef2Reef , basic searches for coral types can get you a mixed bag of information on the web, But I still use the basic search engines and also check the coral retail sites for the information they give on the corals they sell (some better than others)

DAILY QUESTION: What is your approach to coral reef aquascaping?
My smaller tank limited my overall vison on what I intended to do on this tank. I was aiming for natural look with areas for intended corals to be placed and with flow and lighting in mind

DAILY QUESTION: How do you incorporate coral frag racks or mounts into your tank setup?
I don't intend to use racks in my display tank, I intend to have no frag plugs visible in my display tank also. This will be accomplished based on the coral type and size of the plug, and ease of plug removal.

Entry: Best thing ive done: ditch the mindset as long as nitrate is x-y and phosphate is x-y and that i must keep it as stable as possible.

PAR, bacteria and nutrients grow coral. Trace and PAR/spectrum color it up.

Im no expert, chemist nor biologist, and this is only my "current" level of understanding, which is always changing, but im so comfortable with the health and results in my reef right now.

DAILY QUESTION: What advice would you give to a new coral grower starting out in the hobby?

Wait until you tank is stable and mature. It takes longer if you started with dry rock. When you buy your first coral get a softy to test. If it's doing well after 1 month buy another.
