DAILY QUESTION: How do you monitor trace element levels in your tank?
I occasionally get an outside sample run but I don’t monitor very closely. I change water occasionally and hope that keeps up. I should do more but I’m old and lazy.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you monitor trace element levels in your tank?
I don't... I add some here and there using Reef Trace or Reef Plus since I don't do regular water changes but it's usually just an off and on occurrence.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you monitor trace element levels in your tank?
when all parameters are measuring good, but corals are starting to lose their luster, I add a balanced concoction of snake oil to make me feel like I’m doing something to improve the situation.

Consistent water changes have been the best for me so far, though since I have a softie tank, I haven’t needed much more than that. I haven’t gone into hard corals because I know my water chemistry wouldn’t support it currently.
