Reaching out here to obtain some feedback/experience with coral behavior as the subject says: I have a tank mixed with *established and existing* hammers, frogspawns, flowerpots, daisies and torches. I notice that in some days and what feels like eternity some of such corals remain closed while the rest of the corals are open and appear healthy. After a week or even more the closed corals opens up again and the tank appears back to normal. During this period there is no significant change recorded in any water parameters (ie. salinity, Ca, Mg, dkh, Phosphates, Nitrates, or PH).

I'm wondering if what I described is something that you to have experienced - that is for no apparent reason(s) certain corals just close up and don't open up later and appear 'normal' again.

Cheers
