Hi guys,
New here, newbie to hobby, need urgent answers please, but must tell backstory.

We (fellow teachers) have a small FOWLR tank in our school. Been a year, all's good. These few days losing fish due to Ich/velvet and maybe fluke.
So, it being a preschool, we don't have a lot of space, alot of tanks, alot of spending power.

We have two tanks. One is being used.

I want to use the other tank to save as much as we can.
Will use prepared saltwater from the LFS shop next door.

Hi guys,
New here, newbie to hobby, need urgent answers please, but must tell backstory.

We (fellow teachers) have a small FOWLR tank in our school. Been a year, all's good.
Then, these few days losing fish due to Ich/velvet and maybe fluke.
Something that was introduced. Can't figure out.
So, it being a preschool, we don't have a lot of space, alot of tanks, alot of spending power.

We have two tanks. One is being used.

I want to use the other tank to save as much as we can.
Will use prepared saltwater from the LFS shop next door.

Will remove invert and place in a smallish tank (anemone, crab, hermits)

I have gotten fritz coppersafe, so that's going to be in the new tank for 30 days.
Questions please:

1. Can I also add at the same time Prazigold (Eiho Prazigold)?

2. We have 2 chromis, 2 yellow tail blue damsels, 1 foxface, 1 boxfish, 1 blue tang, 1 Singapore angel, and two garden eels.
The 2 garden eels will go to another smallish tank as I'm aware they are reactive to copper. Right?
Then what can I use to add to their tank to destroy Ich, velvet, fluke?

3. I will remove the water and remove the coppersafe from new tank after the 30 days, and will add back the eels. Is that ok?

Please help, we are panicking (and many of us heartbroken at losing our babies ). We've grown with each other the past year

Also, if you recommend a medicine, may we please have the marketplace name (preschool teachers are the best with chemistry and medical names) so that we can be efficient in getting the products from the shops.

Thank you so much guys.

I've learned so much from this forum, so I feel much safer asking here.

I have dosed copperpower and prazi at the same time successfully, but its not really recommended. I had a lot of air pumps and sponge filters to create a lot of aeration.

I would recommend dosing coppersafe first. Once that is complete, do water changes to get the copper out of the system and then do your prazi dose. Make sure you have a lot of aeration for the prazi treatment.

Edit- just read about the eels. Yes you are correct about eels being sensitive to copper. I had a velvet outbreak one time and I was treating my fish (and snowflake eel) in copper power. Even at the lower 2 ppm I could tell the eel was struggling. I ended up doing the tank transfer method with hydrogen peroxide. It worked well, but its not easy for a lot of people to do. I have a pretty big saltwater reservoir tank and a bunch of spare heaters/air pumps and 10 gallon tanks so it was pretty easy for me to do.

Hey! Thank you very much!

We ended up using paraguard, because the coppersafe seller last minute informed us he ran out of stock (he didn't update his product list) so we ended up using paraguard.
Now fish looks worse! Been 3 days.

But now, I've got Aqua Copper (chelated copper sulfate). And would like to stop paraguard and go directly to this.
Should we just put in carbon, and do 70-80% water change in 24 hours and then apply the copper? Help please!
Thank you!
