I am 2 weeks into copper treatment. My tank has been fallow for about 50 days now. I don't want any problems when I put my fish back in, so I'm doing the whole shabang. Copper for 1 month and then 2 weeks of prazi.

The coppersafe dosing is super confusing when I read different stuff. The manufacturer says minimum therapeutic is 1.5 and can go up to 2.0. A thread I was going off of said the same and quoted humblefish I'm this. Then there's other people saying 2.0 is the minimum and humblefish "liked" this answer (see screen shot) in May of this year. I've been running it at 1.75 to 2.0 and now I'm a little concerned it's supposed to be OVER 2.0. Super frustrating and annoying. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Go with 2.5ppm, with a minemum of 2.0 (while taking into account the error range of the kit). If you drop below 2.0, I would restart the clock on the QT. 2.5ppm is the most protective value. Jay Hemdal's disease QT guide on here is the most up to date guidlines for the hobby.

If I go up to 3 or 3.5, will that be dangerous for the fish?
